The Harvest Festival celebrates the bounty of autumn. Join us for an inspiring mix of children's handcrafts, fun activities, face painting, storytelling, curriculum displays, puppet shows, nourishing food, live music and entertainment, unique marketplace treasures, and a raffle/silent auction. This event is open to the general public and all are welcome so bring the whole family! Tickets are not exchangeable and not refundable.

Participate in the Harvest Festival Planning

Festivals Committee Vision: Create a beautiful child-centered Waldorf Harvest Festival that reflects the Golden Valley Charter School community.

Festivals Committee Goals: Create year to year continuity while keeping room to grow and change, make HF affordable for the community, put in place a cost reduction plan to maximize profit, pursue outside income via sponsorships and vendors and create a HF that does not over tax GVCS volunteers.

Free Entrance

Free Activities: Leaf Fairies, Sleeping Giant, Relay races, Kids Storytelling Puppet Shows, Juggling and Music Entertainment.

Paid Activities:Balloon launch $2, Walk cupcake/watermelon $1, Face painting $2, Gnome houses $3. Raffles $1.

Food & Drinks: Rudolph's Diner & Harvest Moon Cafe will sell soups, salads, sandwiches, cookies, brownies, baked goods, lemonade, coffee, tea and water. Freshly baked and cooked with locally grown produce and ingredients. Offerings will include vegan, gluten free, and organic. Prices: $1, $3, $5 & $7.
